About PTP Capital Management, LLC
Mr. Shan Gilder Sr is an experienced Project Manager having experience coordinating and completing field labor contracts for 2 major oil and gas companies as a direct hire. He has experience working with multiple layers of project and corporate organizations from company executives to field laborers. He has managed consultants and contractors in the operations and environmental field for major oil and gas companies. Mr. Gilder brings a wide array of operations and environmental experience to the project management area. Mr. Gilder spent 15 years in the oil and gas industry from being a lead crude unit operator of the largest crude expansion unit in all of North America at Motiva Refinery in 2012 to working as a management professional in the Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental department. His Fortune 500 direct hire operations and environmental experience gave him the opportunity to work directly with multiple government agencies as an Environmental and Regulatory Advisor in the oil and gas and liquefied natural gas industry. The list of agencies include: Federal contractors and consultants with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Railroad Commission (RRC), United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFW), and National Response Center (NRC), He is a graduate of the Texas A&M National Oil spill response school with contractor management experience in Emergency response and planning as well as incident command. Mr. Gilder and his team are poised to work with various agencies and deliver results. Mr. Gilder is the president of PTP Capital Management and is an analytical, solutions-driven leader with 20+ years of combined experience in the upstream and downstream oil and gas industry. Mr. Gilder is also a 21-year licensed financial services agent in the insurance industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, and a master’s degree (MBA) from Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas.
